Dork Diaries – Puppy Love – Book review

Bookworm alert here again!  So  I will repeat myself here so many apologies, we love books in our house!!  It doesn’t matter what it is whether it is aimed at boys or girls we do like a good read!

Dork Diaries – Puppy Love is the 10th instalment in the very successful Dork Diaries series, which I understand the company that produced The Hunger Games has optioned film rights for the series (cue some very excited children!!) This book was a little old for H but we loved the quick and easy way you could dip in and out of the story and to be honest it took me back to my school days and how I felt as I was growing up, some of the moments are pure laugh out loud.

Starting with mean girl Mackenzie having gone, Nikki thought her life would free of drama…..WRONG! When Nikki visits the animal shelter that Brandon volunteers at she discovers that they are too full to take a litter of abandoned puppies, Nikki makes the decision to look after them until the shelter has more room, this proves a little tricky with 7 puppies and parents that don’t allow dogs in the house!!  Trying to hide all those puppies and take them to school in secret proves a tad troublesome!

Another great story and a character you really can love, and another great book I would highly recommend.

Dork Diaries ‘Puppy Love’ is due to be published by Simon & Schuster on the 22nd October 2015 and can be pre-ordered through most bookshops.
